Get our Pure Energy Super Mod packs for 1/12th scale.....the extra runtime helps prevent the fade you sometimes get at the end of the 8 minute run......
I would get the higheste voltage you can afford.....
For motors, I would get the monster stock.....they work well every where and will be easy to gear for you track, as it will be what most other racers are running.....
