Hi all. I have been using the VP oil for ages.. its the best... i use the RC Castor and the VP NITRO GLIDE. As a blend its clean potent oil..It was developed in the USA for the drag guys...they needed an extra special oil for their nitro, alloy motors. (sound familiar).
You can gian power if you play with the oil content bit, if you run say, 8% as to 10% you WILL get more ware... a better power gain..but it runs hotter, so tunning is critical...I advise the new guys to run 12% oil..so to compensate for tunning errors.. I like to run 8%..50ml. castor and 30ml nitro glide to 1 litre of 15% nitro...I add an extra head shim if its a bit warm.....
Guys, buy the american methanol and the american nitro...DONT use the Chineese quality..it has floaties and crap in it.......its rubbish...
One question I have..
Will you be selling the oils seperate so that people can mix their own?
will it be blended or singlular?
Are you selling the fuel that VP make them selves for the R/C market and re labeling it? or is ALL your own?
What are the pecentages of oil?
Im asking this as a lot of people say that they have the 'best fuel'...and i havnt found any to be any better than what I and heaps of others have been using for ages...
Guys, mix your own...you get FRESH, clean fuel..
Most tunning problems come fron so called "shop fuel"....
no pun or any negative attitudes are meant to come from my post...just my OWN personl thoughts..
