1/8th Scale to run at the Pre Worlds
The 2006 1:8th scale Qld Championship has been re-instated as an event to be run in conjunction with the 2006 IFMAR 1/10th 200mm On Road Pre World Championship.
After consultation with AARCMCC and in light of the slightly lower and expected numbers for the 1/10th pre-worlds AARCMCC has agreed to sanction the Qld 1/8th State Championship as part of the Pre-Worlds event.
From a Host club perspective there needs to be a minium of two heats to conduct the event and competitors must be a financial member of an AARCMCC affiliated club.
Any 1/8th drivers who are interested in competing in this event MUST contact the Chairman on any of the numbers listed below as soon as possible for instructions on how to nominate. Entries will close on 31 January 2006 and NO late entries will be accepted.
If you have already nominated for the 1/10th and you intend to run both scales you will still need to contact the Chairman.
The Organising Committee regrets the late notice and confusion that has occurred over this event but in the end the best outcome was achieved. We would also like to thank Peter Ellis for reconsidering the AARCMCC decision.
