They are very light and as strong as steel. The pin problem is that some units dog bone pin can drift over to one side. If this happens to your dog bone tap the pin out, apply green Loctite (Green is permanent) to the pin and tap it back in place. The pin will never move again.
The TiR dog bone should neither increase or decrease turning radius. They are just better replacements than the stock or optional HB units.
