Rather than falling victim to my syndrome, I think you my have inherited it. I think I'm on a 3 main finish streak...woo hoo! 1 or 2 more finishes and I'll be at the .500 level. Good thing this isn't professional athletics....attendance would be down and I'd have been traded long ago.
As far as a more cut resistant tire, I fear you may be pissing up the proverbial rope trying those 2-stage tires. I can't say for sure as I haven't really come up with a way to test this theory but it seems that my 2-stage stuff seems to cut more easily and the pink layer delaminates from the under wrap. The rears seem more susceptible to this phenomena as the outer orange rubber on the fronts is undoubtedly tougher than pink rubber. This could just be a coincidence.....time will tell.
