Hell yes, i am running stock, and this is the fourth week once a week, and run each pack once, the first two times was very fast and the third time i notice the packs was going soft, this is what i did after race i would bring the packs to 5.40 v 6pack touring and leave it for the next race, then on race day i would eq then charge at 6amp .3 peak and race.
Your method is solid,nothing wrong there,keep an eye on the packs temp when it peaks it should be between 125 and 135 degrees,I've noticed that when they are not up to temp at peak they will run a "little" softer,if you need to, get a heating pad and get them up to 70-80 degrees before you throw them on the EQ.
