The same goes for stock and 19 turn motors as well.... The increased overlap provided by a laydown brush increases arching, so it is not uncommon to see a slight amount of carbon build up on the trailing edge of the brush face.... We've been narrowing the brush slightly by removing .015" off the trailing edge of the brush, this in turn reduces arching and heat buildup while at the same time providing slightly more torque....
