I found it difficult to screw on the shock caps without cross threading. Also, and I'm not sure if the two are related but, my shocks leaked like crazy. Had to rebuild them after every other race. I haven't had leak issues since I bought the aluminum shock bodies but the ones I got weren't smooth. There were high spots inside the bodies that caused the piston to bind slightly as it moved through the shock. The amount of binding varied between the four shocks.
