Why 2.5?

Because in our testing we found that that extra .5mm of graphite did little to nothing for stiffness. The thicker graphite add weight,
raises the center of gravity of the car more and alters shock mounting, roll center and camber link locations.

Cars like the RDX and the 415MXS have low top decks. The lower the top deck the less braced the car becomes and thus these cars need thicker graphite to keep them stiff.

The Mi2's (and Xray's for example) can run thinner lighter graphite and still be rock solid.

Why no rear sway bar?

Because no one uses them on foam tires. Just look at all the cars in the A-Main at the IIC. We have not come across a race condition where is was ever good to run a rear sway bar on foam tires. You can do other more effective setup changes to get what you want before using a rear bar.
