If you use the 46mm swing shafts so they go deep into the outdrive it should work. If you use the Lt wt. suspension you may have to use the 48mm swing shafts. Tamiya also has the precision outdrives as a hop up. These are made of delrin which is a little harder plastic and they have the alum. rings on the ends to keep them from expanding. Right now I'm using 46mm with the stock arms and the stock outdrives and the shaft goes way inside the outdrive and I've ran 23 turn motors and no problems! The key is to have the contact point of the shaft as far in as possible with out binding and away from the end of the outdrive. Hope this will help you!
