I second that... My 5800 does get hot. I can make a five minute race no problem but I can't kick a battery pack without a cool down period. As stated it also depends on track layout/grip.

tnbndr: I would assume the GTB to fit easily in the xxx4 as the stock ss5800 esc is larger and I've got it intalled.
