Well, I guess it is personal preference and of course you're not going to break any parts if you don't hit nothing. But in order to win races you have to finish them and in a durability contest the tc4 will loose. As far as supporting your local economy I agree with you, although I'm not positive A/E parts are mold in the U.S. , as with their Reedy motors and LRP speed controllers.
