I bet all of the top belt drive cars run about the same laptimes when setup right. So I guess get whichever one you can find parts, get parts cheap, and easy to wrench on. The Yokomo is VERY easy to work on. 4 screws and the layshaft is dissambled, spur gear is off, and belts are loose. 4 screws gets each diff out.
