Tres: Man, I had to read your post about four times before I got it. What was really getting me was two things. One- the connector sex, those two male plugs had me all confused. I forgot that the DSC cord has both a male and female plug on it...and Two-the (a) wire was so short, I thought it was for the DSC/Charging, but I guess the battery's wire is long enough to reach that cord.

So...

(c) has a male connector to plug into the reciever
(a) has a female connector to plug the reciever pack into
(b) has a male connector to plug the charger extention or DSC cord into.

Got it.

But why the heck is the (b) wire so long? Where in the heck is that trying to reach to?
