Ok... was way off on that one.. Sorrry... you are not asking about the 7.1 speedo.

The maps you are talking about is just that the recommed settings for each of the three that you can program (punch, init brake and drag brake), as I understand it, accessing to a "map" is not in the ESC, only the recommened settings. That is how the "fast" guy at my track explained..

I have mine sent to 2 for punch, 0 for init brake, and 0 for drag brake. Remember this is for stock motor. For my 19t motor, I run 2 on the init brake, just because of the bearing in the motor, vs the bushing in a stock motor. Our track is short and tight, so not much difference on a 5 min run between stock and mod motors. In fact the fast setup for mod is a stock motor with bearings installed. Not a mod motor....
