what i dont get is you said shaft cars are better in slower speed and belts are better in high ends... but wouldnt it be the other way because when you are getting faster your RPM's is also increasing therefore the belt will have more stress and then sretch out but the shaft will keep the same efficiency when the RPM's are going up so that would mean no acceleration or decceleration will drop what so ever
