While that does make sense, does it really reduce lap times that much to haul around an extra 15-20 grams? And while the weight does do something, by the time you reach the 3:30-4:00 minute mark, you would have a higher average voltage than most other racers, making up for the additional "weight" (if you can really call it that), and then providing extra power after that. I just think that the more consistent voltage has a bigger impact than the weight. We should get Danny to answer that question (hint, hint).
