Actually the traction was very very high. what you experienced is unbalanced traction which can occur with high levels of VHT sprayed on a smooth surface. It occurs when the traction is so high that front steering is excessive giving the illusion that the rear bite is low.
To get an 1/8th scale car balanced radical changes needed to be made to the front end of the car.
personally I went to a full stiff front bar setting,6mm wider front end, 38 shore front tires narrowed 5 mm and superglued on the outside sidewalls to take the front steering off the car. My car was then balanced.
what I really needed were 40 shore fronts or 35 shore rear rubber mounted on front rims.
