yay!!! i got it to start without a problem! i purchased new fuel, new(hotter) glow plugs, and a new glow driver. i think because i had a cold plug in the engine it wouldn't get hot enough to ignite the fuel. plus, i think the fuel itself might be a little worn out. getting a better glow driver, one that will last all day, will certainly help too. obviously i heated up the engine with a hairdryer, which helped tremendously.
