Mostly because Rich runs one of the most efficient races in the nation and because he has heard it all, understands it all and is somewhat immune to all of the bull that usually happens at a big race he is fully qualified to run a FUN effincnet important national event.
Not alot of people can pull off an event without the usual complaints about the tech specs, practice times, etc...
What I hope we all understand is that are rules, times, and the occasional hickup with computer issues that can make or break a race and the Ron Paris Memorial is one of them , that should not be decided on internet terms, but decided on the track , just like RON would like it to be !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
