I'd have to say that Kyosho's FW-05RR is the best choice hands down. Its hard as a rock and its more than able to keep up with the rest. The NTC3 and LD3 are more fragile when it comes to crashes. Also the Kyosho will work better with out-of-the-box settings.
But if you only had to choose between the LD3 and the NTC3, go with the LD3. Ofna parts are harder to break than AE's.
