I am new to the electric scene and was hoping to get some feedback.
I can purchase a new TB02 RTR thats fully stock fromTamiya's website
or
A used TA04R with many upgrades as follows.
White carbon fiber upper deck and shock towers
-TRF fluorine coated shocks
-Tamiya spring set
-High torque servo
-Novak GT7 speed control
-Reversible lightweight suspension set included
-1 Black can motor, 1 silver super sport type R motor(Original with kit)
-Lightweight tub chassis
-2 Peak Powermaxx TCS legal batteries
Price is pretty much the same for both, but not sure about belt vs shaft drive.
Will there be a big performance difference or will I have to invest a lot into the TB02 to match the TA04-R.
From a rookie's perspective, which is the best direction to take as I don't plan on taking this to any competitive level.
