I'm guessing your running a mabachi 540 class. Are there any specs on what batteries are legal for your class? Most 540 classes I know of require everyone to run the same packs. If not I would check out promatch.com for some 3300 stick packs. 3300's have great voltage and run times at a lesser cost then 3700 and 3800's. I haven't seen any packs matched at 50 amps, the norm is 30 or 35 amps. I would think you could run unmatched 3300 from promatch and be very competitive and save some cash aswell. Batteries are important, but if you can't make it around the track with out scrubbing boards or getting out of the line then you won't really see the difference. my.02
