Default vegas

Hey Rod - Thanks! btw - you learn fast, considering you don't run rubber tire/carpet. Awesome job in 19 turn.

Some folks were asking for my vegas setup. I ran the same setup for both mod and 19 turn....

Tires : glue half of front sidewall

Front:
Front one way : yes
Center one way : no (locked)
Droop : 24mm to top of axle
Springs: white
Oil: 60 orion
Shock pos:
-outer hole on shock tower
-outer of two holes on arm
Inside Upper links : 2mm spacer
Ackerman : front holes on knuckles
- swept back bell crank
Blocks : d and d - no spacers
Wheelbase: 3mm forward
Caster : 2 degrees
Swaybars : none
Toeout: none
Wheel hub spacers : 1mm
Belt : position 1
Ride height: 5.5 to 5
Lw suspension
Camber: 1

Rear:
Droop : 25mm to top of axle
Springs: blue
Oil: 60 orion
Shock pos:
- One hole in on shk twr
- Outer of two holes on arm
Inside Upper links : no spacer
Outside upper link: 0.7
Upper link length: outer hole on upright
Blocks : d and a - no spacers
Upright : 1 degree allum (total 2.5 toe in)
Wheelbase: 3mm forward
Swaybars : none
Wheel hub spacers : 1mm
Belt : position 2
Ride height: 5.5 to 5
Lw suspension
Camber : 1.5

Mod Motor : 8x1
Gearing : 102 and 25

19 turn :Orion Element
Gearing : 104/38

This setup had just a little push in mod but perfect in 19 turn. For 19 turn I ran the same setup of tires for all four qualifiers and the main. In mod I ran 2 sets of tires one on the first day of qualifying and the other for the second day of qualifying and the main. For mod I would probably make the following changes to add a little more steering.

* not glue front tire sidewall at all
* lay down front shocks one or two holes
