I understand it now. Very interesting.
I do have doubts about it competing in Speed World Challenge. The car is basically a Chevy Malibu with stretched wheelbase (Malibu is 106.3" and I think the G6 is 113"). A wheelbase that long is going to kill the handling on the twistier road courses.
