The XR8 has enough appeal to stand on its own when compaired to the established 1/8 on-road cars. I had an Evolva before the XR8 and while the Kyosho is a great car, I like the XR8 better. It was better equiped out of the box, more adjustable, and had better traction. Lower cost is nice too.
