Fast lap qualifying would cost an arm and a leg. I know I've built 19t adjustable motors that ran 2-3 tenths faster than a C2, but ran strong for 2 minutes, soft for 2 minutes, then dumped hard. Burt brushes every run. Also, new tires would give a huge advantage. That takes the consistance out of play.
