My god, man. Talk about overkill. I have run most of those programs, and for the most part, they are all good programs... for doing track layout, a bit much... Maybe for designing the entire facility you'd want one with that kind of horsepower. You can almost get by with a technical drawing or any freeware cad programs. There are even some shareware that are cheap like $20 - $50 that the author is only looking for some compensation for sitting in front of their monitor... Nicest thing is that they usually respond to bugs that you report, because that is their baby. I would do a cad program search on a site like www.downloads.com, or even cnet.com.
