nitro, the evo2 shocks are different from the T1 shocks. They made them the same front and rear. That's why your getting the different lengths. The overall length really isn't important since the car has droop screws.
The "swisscheese" tower as I call it does work on the T1, you have to space the shock out from the tower for it to work. It comes with the evo2 and to use it properly it will need to spaced. The evo2 comes with 3mm lock nuts to space the shock out so the tower doesn't hit the top of the shock. The front evo2 tower is taller then the T1 too. To use the T1 tower with the evo2 shocks you would have to use the lower aluminum shock retainer cups as the springs for the evo2 are all the same length too. Make sense???
