kev- Great time this yesterday, your car is running well.

Robk- Your cars is really fast too. Did you go back to Venture today?

Juch's- what did you do today?

RC Nitro- List of 1/12th cars (in no order) Corrally 12G/M, Yokomo YRX 12 (Masami ed), Kawada, Associated 12L3, CRC Carpet Knife, CRC 6 pack, SpeedMerchant Rev.3, Trinity Switchblade Spashett 2002, Pro Tech "Lil dady"(?). Out of these i think if you run mod you will probably really like a Trinity, Associated or Yokomo. The Yokomo is kind of a mix between an Associated and Trinity. Associated is coming out with a new car supposedly within the next 6mos but who knows. The Kawada if it is still sold is a revised Associated. The Rev. 3 and Carpet Knife are awesome cars for stock and i've heard that the Rev. 3 will be getting some revisions but who knows? The six pack in its box stock form is kind of a cross between a Carpet Knife and an Associated but most people when they run mod with it simply take off the side springs and run the tweak screws ala L3 or Switchblade. The Pro-Tech is a unique design that uses ideas found on the Corrally, Switchbalde and L3. The Corrally 12M if i'm not mistaken (and i could be) is getting a few updates that were used at the World's this year. My favorite is the Trinity car.

LouisB- In low grip carpet situations i simply let the traction compond sit for about 30min and re-use the same rears several times. Whites do give a marked edge in traction but many people site that the traction goes away around the 6min mark which is why i stick with the Gray componds. If you were racing asphalt then Yokomo 35's or standard (Jaco, TRC) Pink dots would be the only way to go for the rears. BTW, Corrally use to make Gold and Silver dot tires with the Gold being the softer of the two and i suppose similar to a white dot while the silvers were i think would be similar to a gray dot. i think they are actually Yokomo rubber but not the Yokomo 35's that Masami ran at the Worlds this year which is suppose to be a gas tire.

Hydra- 64 pitch is normally used in 12th scale and for the size track you discribed try: Stock Motor = 29/100 with 1.90" rear tire. Modified Motor = what turn?? For modified motor gearing see some of the past post between 20-43.

Raffe- So how did the Yokomo body run and were its characteristics like you thought?

Petenis- Have you replaced the chassis and with what? i plan on being up there next Wed evening for Oktoberfast, will there be practice or will the track be closed for setup? Your brother said his Trinity is working much better how is he doing?

Everyone- For lots of setup, tire traction application, and build quality tips everyone new may want to revisit or see pages 19-43 of this thread because guys posted tons of stuff. Let us know if this stuff helps.
