Do you have any idea how old the truck or engine is?

Before you attempt to tune it replace the glowplug.

First adjust the low-speed needle so that it is about plush with its casing.

Once thats done adjust the idle screw so that once the brakes are surpressed you can see a 1.5mm gap in the carbies slider.

Now tighten the High-speed needle in fully and back it out 2.5 turns.

See how that works for you.
