(and I hope so because I have a matched pack arriving soon).
But that said I've seen unmatched 1400scr stick packs win over 3300s (all down to the driver) in 540 (silver can) racing. So long as it has plenty of punch over 5 min it probably doesn't matter.
I can get 6+ minutes at race gearing with 1500mah, so I figure you'd only need 3300 or bigger for longer punch duration. I wouldn't have some 3700 now if I wasn't going 1/12th.
