Actually, the "standards" are set by using a shore type C Asker. The PTC duro is calibrated at the factory to mimic the numbers on the type C. The numbers on the GRP rubber should match the industry standards (as I suspect they do- they make a fine tire) and I am not aware of any special deviation from that scale that is exclusive to them.
