Yes it is because motor cleaning/brush changing/comm truing isn't my thing lol.
I would have considered it if I didn't already have a Keyence Esc to go in my new car (1/12th).
I really do like the idea that with a closed can all I have to do is clean out with a motor spray and oil bushings and it's all done basically. Probably most of the reason I stuck with closed cans in off-road for 7 years. Motor maintenance just holds no interest. I just like to get it over and done with.
