What the Spintec does is totally different from a tray. The tray will equalize the cells to a certain voltage or just down to zero so that they are all at the same level when you charge it back up. The Spintec decrystallizes your cells through the pulse-discharging, so it's like maintenance-zapping your cells (without the risk of blowing them, lol)
For best performance/conditioning, you would use the Spintec then put the batteries on the tray.
