They have two different types of shocks for the mini. One is the plastic cva shocks. The other is an aluminum set that is more money. I bought the cva short plastic shocks. I would save some money & get the plastic ones. As for a setup this is what I got. Front Shocks have a 5mm spacer inside, medium & think shock tensioners. The spacer & tensioners come with the new shocks. I also have whites springs & 90wt shock oil in the front. Back is almost the same as the front. I have dark blue springs & 70wt shock oil in the rear. I am using trinity shock oil for all the shocks(Prefered Brand). I also have the heavy tension sway bar in the front & nothing in the back. I don't know what else I can adjust off hand. If I can figure out more I will post it.

I know what you mean exactly. After I ordered the mini I looked to see how much a body was. I almost passed out when I seen the price.

I wish I was living where you do. I would love to have the body be a little cheaper. Almost all tamiya bodies here are that price I think.
