Would anodizing fix this? Also not sure if they will really get bad to where they would catch fire....generally a car driving on its rim is some serious friction/heat.

But hay I wouldnt mind seeing my chassis catch flame. I say stick with it. If anything Ill bring the car over to me during a race and put it out....the cool factor of exstinguishing your lightweight magnesium chassis outweighs the loss of time. LOL, im not joking.
