the Hara edition comes with an aluminum input shaft and uses a screw to hold the stock bevel gear instead of e-clips. and yes it's lighter than the 1pc version. the 1pc is aluminum. don't know about durability...definately the 1pc gear will not break..but you may end up breaking the main bevel gear. on the Hara since both gears are plastic...one or both may break. after running my car with the 1pc bevel gear... the car runs louder than usual.
