True, you can fine tune your oil or springs by trying "slightly" different ones, without changing the other. For example, 40 wt oil in front with blue springs and you want to try 45, you most likely wouldn't need stiffer springs. That wouldn't mean you won't try them, but you would still be in a "range" of the origional springs capability. Of course, now we're back on the testing thing, since the only way to find what works for each racer is testing.......................Jim
