I ran the BRB set last week and it was a little sluggish. I suppose this was due to bad tuning so I just tried to tune it up. I was running around 240 degF on tick over and it was reving OK but the bottom end was a bit sluggish.
I am running 0.3mm head clearance (1 copper shim in nova engine)
I thought it might be overgeared so changed the 16T on the RRR to 15T and tried again
After refuling it was a different car. It pulled away really well.
When I checked I had mistakenly filled the car up with 25% nitro instead of 16%!!
This makes me think that the head clearance should be reduced a bit for 16% but I am only running 1 copper shim. If i take this out i will be down to 0.2mm. What do you think will this be OK or am i going in the wrong direction?
