You got the latest version of D3R. Mine looks the same (People thought it was the TOP engine.) I ran the engine around 230-240F. Mine has 2 gallons through and no sign of wear on the rod and crankpin. And the run time is 6+ minutes for each tank (I like to set the bottom end on the rich side, and top end on the lean side). You can check the timings and compare yours to mine. I post my timing on the forum. I feel the new D3R has wider power band and is faster than the original one. It is the one that I'm racing with now and it is a really good engine, the price is so affordable. You just need to check the conrod and crankpin after you finished the break-in. Make sure not much play is between those 2. You will love it.....
