This seems rather unusual, and for racers under BRCA or similar rulesets that have a 4% weight tolerance, this would make such a pack illegal for sanctioned racing. Has anyone else noticed such a big discrepancy with their pack weights?
I had the factory pull all the weights, yes they weigh every pack in every batch, of the last two. And I checked the submitted forms to BRCA and EFRA. The average weight in the last 3 batches of packs (400 packs) Sent to the Asian distributor is 286g. With high of 293g and low of 279g. The submitted weight for efra was 280g. Which makes the upper end very close to the limit and some over. Ive asked the factory to ensure that all future shipments be in the correct range and do a better QC on these and others to ensure we remain compliant for what was submitted.
If you or your friend has some that will cause issues with legality please send me a PM and I can get them replaced for you.
Sorry for the issue but we will ensure to do a better job on this!
