Here's what I'd try in order to re-calibrate your ESC. It's very common for ESCs to need to be re-calibrated after a firmware update and any other settings you may have changed from defaults.
1. Make sure you didn't accidentally bumped the throttle trim off 0.
2. Try reversing channel 2 on your transmitter if it isn't already. It's common for the neutral PWM to vary slightly and it's possible you're outside what the ESC thinks is neutral on power on. Also it's common for Hobbywing ESCs and some brands of transmitters to need throttle channel reversed.
3. Try increasing the neutral range from normal to wide in the parameters with the programming box. For same reason as above.
