I would try to test at 1s for 1s classes, but there will be less load and the differences are smaller, so it may be more difficult to see changes.

Do keep in mind that the TP target rpm was 13000 not 10000 (which is was the R1 was set to). Also keep in mind that the power reference I use it not transferable from motor to motor, it is a reference to that motor alone as it measures the difference between unloaded and loaded Kv of that motor.

I don't think there is a scenario where I would run the R1 over the TP motor.

This question is probably better answered by OffRoadJunkie . My goal is to provide tools that you can use to test different motors with, not necessarily for me to test which is the best. Everyonce in awhile I will compare a couple of motors, but in general I try to stay as neutral as I can.

With that said, if the HW G4R is the popular motor at your track, it seems like a logical choice to run. And on the other hand, lot of hype on the TP motor right now...
