I emailed futaba and they didn't respond. I'm gonna try again.
I was gonna buy one out of Japan but then I read that if it ever needs service, they can't do it in the US (where I am) because it isnt a North America model and has to be sent to Asia.

I called about a few things regarding the 6PV and i literally got the answer "i don't know i have never taken one out of the box". It’s like dude..... seriously. Also you are correct if the JPN 6PV fails they will not fix it. I bought mine new 6-7 mnoths ago on ebay for 350 bucks shipped with TWO RX's. At that price point i said screw it and got it. I know they are still cheaper to buy on ebay from japan but no where near that first price point.
