For medium grip astro, the ball diff is usually a good choice as it can give you smoother power delivery and better traction compared to the gear diff, especially in lower grip conditions. That said, it’s worth experimenting with both to see what suits your driving style.
Yes, pleased I have got both the gear and ball diff to play with. Our layouts are usually quite flowing so I find i prefer the gear diff on the B7 as it doesn't change the line as much when putting the power down.
