The problem is many new motors, do not need too much timing. Have to find the sweet spot. I have a Fantom 13.5 Helix v2, that thing is torquey. Low timing numbers, around 43. I have a R1 17.5 v21hd, Sammy told me to put the timing to 50. That thing has been great also.
The Rotor Ron motor I added is a Fantom Helix set by Ron.......timing appears to be low to mid 40s from what I recall when I threw it on the analyzer. 3900 KV 30K rpm 5.5 amps unloaded......so we will see this weekend when I give it a go in the L1R.
I may back off the timing on the MCS.......we'll see.
The Team Powers failure was a QC challenge from what myself and others can tell. It is what it is.
