Interesting. I haven't tried an Exalt motor, but I did swap recently to one of their batteries, 4400mah 150 C and it is has done well for me. Holds punch longer than my Reedy batteries and "feels" a little livelier later in a heat than my ProTeks.
That being said, the spreadsheet snippet that RC10Nickquoted above has the New Wave motor I am running (I have 2 of them) and in dirt oval street stock that New Wave is outstanding and is holding it's own against the newer HW G4s etc,
When it comes to Motors it feels like there is some luck involved as well as making a selection and setup that matches your application well. I have a Motiv MCS in my 2wd clay car and I think the New Wave was stronger despite the testing showing the MCS being a little better numbers performer. And I completely blew up a Team Powers 13.5 recently so now I am on to a Rotor Ron motor.....we'll see......
The problem is many new motors, do not need too much timing. Have to find the sweet spot. I have a Fantom 13.5 Helix v2, that thing is torquey. Low timing numbers, around 43. I have a R1 17.5 v21hd, Sammy told me to put the timing to 50. That thing has been great also.
