Maaku0220, the next step i would suggest would be Stock. At the minimum grab a Dual Disk Damper ( any brand but PN seems to be what most go with), as the damper makes a HUGE difference in how the car handles. A PN70T brushed motor will also be an improvement, and can fit in the stock plastic pods. And if you want the best rear stock setup grab a Aluminum Pod, and a Ball Diff with a pinion set along with the stuff listed above and you'll be set in the rear. For the front if you want to stay with the 03 front end, a set of Low down knuckles will make it easier to get the ride height and get you to 3mm axels for the front wheels, as they run smoother and longer the the 2mm. My favorite 03 front end is hard arm set with PN Teflon ball and kingpin setup (flipped style) with lowdown knuckles. OR if you are NOT going run in the Narrow class you can get a set of 04 arms, suspension set, and springs and go the the 04 Steering on the 03 chassis! You get the better handling of the 04 and not have a good chassis just sitting! I have a post in the mini z thread on the parts listed needed to do the swap.
The post of the Skyline chassis I have a few posts ago was my BoxStock chassis till I built a 04 ReadySet, and it was ok as a BoxStock but RIPS with the pod/damper/70T/Ball Diff setup! Whole different car! It will be a big difference in handling and speed, but you will grow into it. After that a EVO with brushless power is a easy step. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the details suggestions.
