So I have had both the futaba and the g7p. When I got back into onroad racing a couple years ago I picked up a dx4c to start with. I missed my 4pl I used to run so I looked up what's available and saw the 3pv. It worked with some of the receivers I still had so I went with it. Personally I didn't care for it. I didn't like the feel, and the menu navigation felt worse and had less features. I found about the g7p and I'm like this looks pretty good! So I ordered it (order the one with the foam wheel) the menu has alot of features, about as many features as the noble nb4 however the menu isn't as easy to go through. I would say the g7p is alittle more difficult to go through then the 3pv only cause there is so much more that can be done. The g7p has a back lit screen which is a plus. Screen is large and the wheel is lowered and sticks out further for a more comfortable feel. If you use AA batteries, It will go through it quick, so getting a LiPo battery isn't a bad idea. The receivers are smaller too. I had upgraded to the noble nb4 and it's sooo much better, but now that the noble price has doubled, it's hard to justify a noble.

In short I prefer the g7p over the 3pv. 3pv felt like better quality but the g7p was more comfortable, more features (including programmable buttons and there is alot of buttons u can program)
